Well, this weekend was fun and a bit sad. AF showed up yesterday morning. Not entirely surprised, though. I spent the weekend with my parents. Mom had surgery on her foot on friday so she was in need of some cheering up because she hates not being able to do anything. She and I watched the AKC dog show on tv and watched a few DVD's. We played cards and talked about books. It was great.
Sunday I bowled in our local association tournament. I didn't do too bad. I bowled 9 games...3 team (224, 234, 196), 3 doubles (174, 222, 168), and 3 singles (202, 202, 176). And I made $80 in brackets they run. Yay me! As a team we should cash so I should be getting a nice check in the mail in a few weeks!
On to this week. DH leaves for two bowling tournament in Vegas tomorrow morning bright and early. I have to take him to the airport at 5am. I'll miss him, but I am also looking forward to some 'me' time. Ordinarily I would be going with him, but I am choosing to save my vacation time for later in the year....we are hoping to make it up to Jersey this summer sometime to visit his family.
